I have been a loyal customer here for 4 years. I drive all the way from San Francisco to European Sales & Service because they are The Best Service Shop in the entire Bay Area. This place has not lost the art of true customer service. They went above and beyond to work with us. They were super professional and we even left with our car cleaner than when we dropped it off... Richard and his crew were so professional and honest; never tried to upsell or overcharge. We will definitely go back the next time our Mercedes needs to be serviced or repaired.
I'm a car snob as far as repair goes as I have worked for five dealerships in my automotive career, these guys are the real deal. Sometimes they take a little time but that's because they are very thorough and professional. If you have a Euro car and live anywhere even remotely close (as we do) bring your car here so it's done properly.
This is a company that is well ran from the top to the bottom. ES&S always answers its phone, performs work with a keen sense of attention to detail, the shop is always neat and organized, and is extremely knowledgeable about all things Mercedes. In addition to the above, Richard (Owner) is an honest person who puts ethics and morals above dollars which is not always the case in this industry. I would recommend 10 times out of 10.
I have had many experiences in repairing my Mercedes over the years, some good and some very bad. But until I met Richard and his son Ryan, I never felt that I was being treated in a way that fostered a proactive customer relationship. Richard understands the nuance of explaining problems with his customers and then discussing the best solutions. He has the innate ability to articulate short term and possible future issues in an honest, fair, and sincere way. That is as good as it gets in providing the very best in customer service and care.
